Ideas for New Chess Pieces

Every piece must fill almost the entire square (the Pawns a little smaller).
The sides of the pieces to show the movement:
The Bishops are Rombs,
the Rooks are Squares,
the Queen is Octagon,
the Pawns are Circles (like the one we have),
the King big Circle (with cross inside),
and the Knights like X with circles on the edges (like there are pawns on the ends).
In this case almost every piece may have hole inside which is usefull.
Not that the one we have are not beautiful...

You can see that "shapes" that i made for myself, the weird one with a < for a night, only is used by 86 players. I don't want to discourage someone from designing this idea, but if it would look similar to "shapes" then it would most probably not be added officially.

Here's the source, they can easily be edited to make your own set github.com/flugsio/chess_shapes
flugsio -- I noticed this in that JSON:

{
"_id": null,
"nb": 49492
},

Does this refer to the blindfold chess option, or to something far more sinister?
#3 null means the default set cburnett, the first one. This number represent those who changed some setting but never piece set.
