Every chess player should absolutely watch the entire video.
An education of online chess, his project, and answers most of the questions asked in the forums regarding lichess, it's development, purpose and the future of online chess.
The only reason, the single reason chess.com can continue it's claim as the #1 site is it's varied policies of promoting new sign-ups. Members are continuously closing accounts to create new usernames. The practice is encouraged, as the "membership" totals reported keep increasing, when in fact it is the same people simply creating new accounts. It pays the bills. Advertisers are happy.

I was surprised that Thibault often smiles:),
that he has sense of humor,
his English has very hard french accent,
he looks very good on this video and was convincing but slightly stressed,
I think that Thibault created best Chess site ever,he has "big head" and he know what he's doing

Well, he writes code, started up his consulting company, 2ndly a chess hobbyist.
Unlike other "founders" at other sites who's 1st interest was chess, then thought they knew how to create a site. I didn't see the stress but he was hyper-active, animate, talking quite fast, covered just about everything about lichess and answered questions. He even hinted at devoting more time to the project after tying up ends with his company.

He is very likable and he has a great mindset.
