Clock for Tournaments to Buy

Hey chess fans and the chess elite. I have a question for everyone. I have posted a couple of times on here and am very thankful for the answers and feed back.

My question is what would be a good clock for tournaments? As you can see in the subject line. I have been teaching a chess club for 3 years now at my school and the students have been having fun and learning so much each month. I put on a couple of tournaments each year and I have researched on Amazon and other sites. Just wondering what anyone or everyone takes to a tournament.

Thanks again for any help. I also have a channel to help the students learn the game. Here is a link to one of my videos - The Caro-Kann opening. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxSdNp_k3Uo&t=340s

Have a good night
Why would you need a clock in tournament? Tournament organizer shoudl arrange clocks. DGT3000/2100 are my favorites
I was not sure if the tournament organizer would have clocks for everyone. I was reading that in one tournament you had to bring your own clock.

We also want to use the clocks in the club to practice before we go to a tournament.
There are loads of tourney where you have to bring your own clock. Personally I would recommend the dgt xl or the dgt 2010. They are both great, but very expensive.
Don't buy anything cheap unless you really have no choice. A good clock will last you a long time if you take care of it. Go with one of the FIDE-approved DGTs with the rocker button, or go with a Chronos. I prefer the Chronos due to the all-metal construction and mechanical buttons that are nearly unbreakable and very satisfying to click (I still have a working Chronos from 15-20 years ago), but I notice that these are mostly used by North Americans and no one else. Maybe it's a supply chain issue. ;) Good luck!
In my little part of the cosmos, everybody seems to use DGT north american.
only tourney in Finland one is supposed to bring timers is Blitz team championchips and event there it is the clubs that bring the timers.

Obviously if there are such you should go for the one that support time controls used there DGT Xl, DGT 2010/300 North american version and the Chronos which is not really seen here. But since it popular in NA must have all the needed stuff.

DGT 2010 should be about 65 € and 3000 somewhere round 80€.
Probably this is a secret USCF rule which doesn't allow you to join tournaments if you don't bring your own clock to the venue. ("insufficient material").

Never experienced that in Germany within 30 years. And I play a lot.
@Sargon of course you won't experience it in germany. This only happens to be true in poor countries/tourneys.
