Why are the so few women in the chess elite?

Ummmm… ok, so here goes. I really can’t speak from a biological/neurological side since I'm not really an expert on that sort of thing. However, I look at a player like J. Polgar and during her prime, she could’ve beat anyone in the world. She also had a father who took her out of school to train her in chess. She worked at it for hours a day. In short, to reach that level, it just took a ton of work.

And it still takes a ton of time and dedication. I think men might be more inclined to devote their lives to chess, while girls tend to have more diversified interests (or at least I do). Players like Carlsen, Caruana, and Nakamura pretty much eat, sleep, and breathe chess. Anyway, Polgar’s example shows that it’s definitely possible, but in all honesty, there’s no way I’d give it that sort of dedication.
Women tend to be more responsible and tend to their children first. You can not maintain the intensity of studying while rearing children.
My personal opinion: you have to be insane to be the best at anything. Chess has produced more crazy geniuses than any other field.
Well it can be said why so few men do household jobs . Why men not aware of little things that matter and lot . women are practical beings beyond a point they are not fascinated by chess by elite chess i mean deep positional play which may not be an interesting thing to do always . I am a guy and choose sharp lines because positional play requires more time to think
