I think that it is very dangerous for a person to assume that a voice is their 'conscience'.
Once a person accepts that then they might be gradually convinced that things
that are not in their interest or the interest of others is 'the right thing'.
Internal stimuli must be measured carefully with objective reasoning
and the opinions of people we trust, etc. However, if it is music or poetry
then I don't think that it can hurt.
