Hi all
first question is: is there a Free and Open alternative to DGT Livechess? I'm asking mainly because:
- I'm a long time Free Software supporter/user
- The DGT Livechess software (at lest to me) is not a very good piece of software, especially when you have to manage a tournament (for example: you cannot share players between tournaments and you have to insert the players manually each time, which is not ideal you if use it in a Chess Club).
I've done a quick search and I couldn't find anything.
Second question is: should we decide to write a new piece of software with some friend, does anyone know where to find protocol specs or other data to start from?
Since I didn't find anything, I suppose both questions will have NO as answer, but it's worth trying ;)
Thanks everyone!
