How is it ?
Have not seen it yet. Hear it's quite good. Read the book many years ago and thought it was OK but nothing special.

Im a liitle bit sad because its wasnt mostly about chess, but its made for not chess player so i guess its ok :)
I thought it was great. I haven't read the novel but I still enjoyed the series. In some ways it was a bit of a feel good fairytale of a show but still good imo.
Apparently Kasparov was a consultant on the show and the games that were used were based on actual grandmaster games. After watching the series I really enjoyed watching @agadmator analyse some of the games on his channel.

Here's a good one, the final between Harmon and Borgov:

@breathe-smile Don't forget the great Bruce Pandolfini! He was also responsible for creating some of the more than 350 positions featured in the series.

@Triangel I like how in the movies one player plays check, the opponent plays check then the first player plays checkmate
