Dozens of Chessplayers Still Distraught over Magnus Carlsen's Abdication
Dear Lichess,
I write to you today to please reconsider giving this amazing world championship with brilliant games and exciting results any further coverage as it is a sham and embarrassment to the one true way chess should be played.
Everyone knows a World Championship isn't about wins and losses and entertainment of any kind; a real Champion doesn't lose and therefore shouldn't really need to win very much either. Decisive games are merely the unfortunate result of bad chess.
Until Magnus Carlsen returns to the World Championship I shall protest this farce of a contest and instead renew my subscription to the Amos Burn Chess Academy for one more month. Good Day.
