Looking for a good response for a beginner against d4 openings. Nothing too complex, just something playable out of the opening.
D4 d5. Here look for the semi slav that solid and simple to understand
NID combined with Bogo/QID sounds reasonable.

Slav/QGD. Both meet your criteria: solid, playable out of the opening and not too complex.
#4 NID and QID are not easy to navigate at all, they might be solid but require utmost precision to exit the opening with equality, and the tactical aspect of both make it hard to do so, especially against d5 exd5 Nh4 sacrifices (QID).

offer ur opponent a draw after he plays d4 (JK, dont do that)
The flamingo. Trade off your dark square bishop and put your pawns on dark squares.
Pawn to d6
C6 (Old Benoni Defence I always play it against d4!)
